Cash Management Specialist

Vaco is assisting a very reputable company in the downtown Mobile area find a Cash Management Specialist. The person in the role will need to have excellent communication skills and have experience with recording of financial transactions and the preparation of reports. This position requires entering, reviewing and reconciling transactions in several types of systems and programs, including Excel, Access and Oracle. This person will be responsible for:

• Gathering reports from multiple banking sites to estimate daily cash position while checking and ensuring the reports completeness

• Researching and communicating with bank contacts for any discrepancies noted

• Distributing daily cash balances and projections to management for daily banking decisions

• Accurately logging and tracking credit facility transactions and reconciling these to the banking records

• Logging detailed cash receipts into Access database

• Downloading daily lockbox reports

• Preparing and distributing detailed cash receipts reports to management

• Reconciling transactions in Oracle's Cash Management system

• Accurately entering and initiating wires in the banking online sites

• Communicating with bank contacts to provide any further information required related to foreign wires initiated

• Initiating stop payments on checks as needed

• Investigating and handling of positive pay exceptions

• Handling remote deposit capture for any deposits received on site

• Downloading and distributing monthly bank statements to accountants

• Printing checks initiated on an insurance related account

• Maintaining security and confidentiality of all financial records

• Assisting in opening new bank accounts as needed
