Responsibilities:

Provides physician practice operational workflow transformation, workflow change managernent, and identifies gaps in existing operational processes; provides ongoing training and support related to any EMR workflow optimization or new implementation for operational associates; identifies opportunities for optimization and process improvement within clinic operations; supports processes and action plans to realize target metric goals set by leadership; guides the adoption and evaluation for assigned physician clinic practice sites related to the operational and EMR work-flows; identifies non-standard or non-compliant work-flows, information gaps, assesses current system issues, and provides remediation training to leverage system functionality that supports physician enterprise standards and optimal operational efficiencies; reviews reports and operations work-flows to identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement: proactively engages with Directors of Operation and site leaders to develop improvement plans to achieve optimization, key performance metrics, and process improvement goals; collaborates with the local leadership and site/practice leadership to enhance the training experience and identify adoption and optimization strategies in order to achieve expected outcomes; provides ongoing application upgrades or new feature training to the physician practices and the new associate training program; provides remediation of quality metrics, pay for performance, or other quality programs training gaps with the users at their sites; develops and maintains positive working relationships with practice users to ensure optimal utilization of operational applications in support of enterprise goals; provides system training, support and work-flow optimization for new and existing staff users for their EMRi including but not limited to athenaClinicals, Cerner Powerchart, Phreesia, Experian, Kloud7; identifies and facilitates escalation of operational issues to the appropriate parties; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required; manages the Care Access Float Pool; related duties as required; Provide all support necessary to the, Practice Support Transformation Specialist; Practice Support Transformation Specialist - Technology; Practice Support Transformation Specialist - Clinical; Practice Support Transformation Specialist - Quality and Process Improvement; training specialists; others as assigned; other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience in ambulatory physician practice operations utilizing an electronic health record. Experience in patient registration, claim creation, denial management, and medical coding is preferred. Experience with AthenaNet and/or Cerner is preferred. Project management/process improvement experience and supervisory experience is preferred.
