HumCap's client in the manufacturing space is seeking a VP of Sales to lead and manage the sales department, including setting strategic sales goals, developing sales plans, and implementing effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust background in sales management, particularly within the oil and gas and mobile power sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the sales department, setting strategic goals, crafting sales plans, and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within the oil and gas and mobile power industries through business development initiatives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and deal closure, to consistently meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to devise and execute marketing strategies, leveraging social media and other channels for visibility and lead generation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking with professionals and showcasing our offerings.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to senior management, offering insights for improvement as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales management, demonstrating the ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen business acumen, capable of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior sales management roles within relevant industr ies
