Job Description

Bring your expertise to shape and enhance the journey of products from inception to our customers' hands.

As a Product Delivery lead for New Payment Rails product group, you will deliver innovative new products and services, build enhancements and optimize the way products are delivered to our customers. The New Payment Rails (NPR) team is responsible for driving product engagement for Pay by Bank and modernizing payments across all rails including The Clearing House (TCH) Real Time Payments (RTP), FedNow, Early Warning Services (Zelle), as well as Central Bank Digital Currency. As a leader on the team, you will leverage your skillset to transform product delivery across Pay by Bank, Request for Payment, data aggregation, overlay and value-added services such as fraud and risk services, tokens and more.

Job responsibilities:
  • Direct principal activities across the end-to-end product delivery journey, including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, incident troubleshooting and resolution, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Own the change management framework across functional partners and ensure adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a high level of visibility over product timelines and dependencies, while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
  • Plan for resiliency in all aspects and engage in and know how modernization will impact the product set
  • Understand overall product strategy and incorporate it into tactical pipeline prioritization and planning
  • Engage with key partners to proactively manage industry changes that may impact the roadmap and existing product set
  • Coach and mentor the product delivery team on best practices through collaborative discussions on resource management, dependency management, and deployment techniques to improve efficiencies
  • Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders, including risk, compliance, controls, operations, designers, research, etc.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive experience leading operational management and change readiness
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and departments
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and the initiative to proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience in enterprise-wide release and agile deployment processes and strategies, including ability to independently manage multiple dependencies, get commitments and drive escalations
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: "tell a story"
  • Self-starter; effectively solves problems and shares ideas for improvement with clear prioritization
  • Effective communication and presentation skills across business and technology partners, including senior leadership
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision and an attention to detail
