**Salary**: Commensurate with experience, $125,000 - $175,000

Founded in 2014, SuitUp is a dynamic and innovative 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing college and career awareness among students from underserved communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between corporations and underserved youth by hosting business competitions that foster critical skills development and inspire career exploration. Through both virtual and in-person programming, SuitUp connects corporate volunteers with students to solve a problem for a real company, like creating a new product for Nike or solving a community problem for Snap Inc. Since inception, SuitUp has hosted thousands of competitions for companies like Goldman Sachs, NBCUniversal, Snap Inc., Louis Vuitton, and many others, organizing events for over 13,500 volunteers and impacting more than 21,000 students. **The Opportunity**:
After four years of rapid growth, generating millions in earned revenue, partnering with some of the biggest brands in the world, and impacting tens of thousands of students and corporate volunteers, SuitUp is excited to embark on its next chapter of impact and sustainable change.

SuitUp is seeking an experienced visionary and strategic leader to serve as our full-time Executive Director, and lead the next chapter of SuitUp’s growth. This person will be responsible for honing and executing SuitUp’s strategic vision, building deeper partnerships (corporate, education and philanthropic) to drive growth, and managing / overseeing a staff of 13 full-time employees to ensure organizational stability for years to come. As the Executive Director, your role will be to lead SuitUp to national scale, build career readiness and job placement programming for SuitUp students, and develop a new talent pipeline for Title I students into corporate America.

The Executive Director will be expected to execute against the board’s performance indicators while also bringing their own entrepreneurial spirit and vision to SuitUp’s programming and operations. Individuals of all backgrounds and skill-sets are welcome to apply

**Key Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Strategic Leadership : Work with SuitUp’s Governing Board & Founders to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with SuitUp's mission, goals, and values. Lead organizational growth and innovation initiatives to enhance program impact and scalability.
- Program Development and Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of SuitUp's business competitions and related educational programs. Continuously assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate and oversee strategic partnerships with corporations, educational institutions, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support program expansion and sustainability. Develop mutually beneficial relationships to enhance SuitUp's visibility and funding opportunities.
- Fundraising and Resource Development: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue targets and ensure long-term financial stability. Lead fundraising efforts to secure financial support from individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government agencies, and oversee the execution of our annual Suit Up for SuitUp gala in New York City.
- Team Leadership and Management: Provide inspirational leadership to a diverse team of 13-full-time staff, contractors, volunteers, and interns. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values teamwork, results, creativity, and professional growth.
- Financial Management and Accountability: Oversee the organization's budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal management processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Board Relations: Collaborate with the SuitUp Governing Board to set organizational priorities, goals, and policies. Provide regular updates on programmatic and financial performance, and solicit input from board members to inform decision-making.
- Communications and Public Relations: Serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate for SuitUp. Develop and implement strategic communications plans to raise awareness of SuitUp's mission, programs, and impact. Engage with media, stakeholders, and the broader community to amplify SuitUp's message.
