Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.HDR is looking for a project manager whose experience focuses on client development and delivery of projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in successfully delivering various projects ranging from upfront planning and pre-design activities through detail design, construction support and commissioning. This position is an opportunity to join one of the largest, fastest growing, and comprehensive Building Engineering practices in the industry. In additional to managing and delivery projects (which is the primary focus of this role), the successful candidate must possess the drive, experience and charisma needed to develop and secure work from a robust global client base and expand upon HDR’s reputation within these markets. This individual will manage multi-disciplinary design teams from project conception to completion. Keen focus on organizational skills and follow-through are required to be successful in this role. This person will work closely with the Regional Building Engineering Services Business Group Managers. Some travel to client sites or other HDR offices is required.Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods and standards, to achieve the established goals and objectives of the business group, region and company.Manage and lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction10-20% Travel to project sites, including international if needed.Flexible work schedule to accommodate international project supportControl project budget, scope, and scheduleEnsure product deliverables meet quality standardsForecasting, Invoicing and contract managementPromote HDR through regular client interfaceMission Critical staff recruiting working closely with the Business Group ManagerCreate vital proposal content including scope, schedule and budgetLead HDR at interview presentationsWork cooperatively with local office leads, other business group leads, technical directors and marketing managers.Other technical / managerial tasks as assigned*LI-BM1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field7 years related data center experienceA minimum 2 years project management experienceMS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsPreference given to local candidates.Preference to candidates with PE or Architecture licensureWorking knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360 Docs, BIM360 Field, and BluebeamWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
