We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Job Title: IT – Supply Chain Management Associate DirectorLocation:  Indianapolis, INOrganization OverviewERP Services exist to provide solution delivery, release management, and service management capabilities for various functions across Lilly’s ERP’s supporting HR, Finance and Supply Chain. This position will serve as the IT manager for the Supply Chain Management business process and applications, including our SAP modules that support planning, manufacturing operations, quality batch release, material purchasing, inventory management, and distribution. This position will partner with the global supply chain and manufacturing businesses and IT leadership to ensure we are managing the existing technology portfolio while balancing with the resource needs for the new strategic initiatives.   How You Will SucceedManage IT people (develops staffing strategy and resource capacity, recruiting and hiring) and dollars (budgets) to meet those objectivesProactively partner with each direct reports to ensure development needs and career objectives are clearly expressed, documented, and tracked persistentlyDevelop IT area strategies and objectives and encourage the adoption of IT best practices or standardized processesDevelop business proposals to improve utilization of existing assets and drive value from these assetsCommunicate direction by prioritizing work within IT portfolio of projects and service, and reinforce complianceCoordinate IT process alignment by leading a team in the delivery of projects and servicesEnsure proactive sustainability and resilience for applications and platforms across the accountDevelop strong relationships with internal Service Owners, service providers and Supplier Managers in Lilly IT organizations regarding the delivery of end-to-end servicesDesigns, implement and manages the Service Level Management process to deliver the end-to-end IT service at a level that supports the business need and requirementsEngage in continuous improvement through annual reviews of the Service Management processesDrive account focused strategic and business plan discussions with business leaders about upcoming business needs and transformation possibilitiesOversee robust SAP release management practices and ensure proactive alignment with business partnersEnsure clear communication channels with all stakeholders involved in the solution delivery effortsProactively manage project risk and issues while identifying the appropriate mitigationsLeverage appropriate solution delivery practices to enable timely value realizationYour Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in computer science, management of information systems, or engineeringMinimum 5 years’ experience in IT solution delivery, service management, or portfolio managementExperience in providing technical coaching and feedback to business analysts, technology professionals, and quality professionalsExperience in developing budgets, forecasts, and plans, and demonstrated ability to manage to financial plansExperience in vendor management to provide solutions and servicesDemonstrated ability to think creatively about complex business problems and resolve these through new approaches     What You Should BringPrevious supervisory experienceExperience in Supply Chain Management, specifically enabled through SAPExperience in successfully delivering to quality standards within the Lilly Quality SystemCertification in ITIL processesPrevious experience in an application delivery or application services center of excellence or central infrastructure support teamDemonstrated strong customer interaction skillsEli Lilly and Company, Lilly USA, LLC and our wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Lilly”) are committed to help individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
