PATIENT ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE- PART TIME DAY

Qualifications:
Required:
* High School diploma or GED
Preferred:
* Prior experience with hospital Patient Access/Registration and EPIC
* Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance
Certifications and Licenses Required:
* N/A
Scheduling Requirements:
* 10:00am 6:30pm
* Two 8 hour shifts per week and one 4 hour shift per week
* Weekend and Holiday rotation
* Part Time, 20 hours per week
Essential Functions:
* Utilizing the WOW s (workstation on wheels), will interview patients to obtain demographic and insurance information
* Accurately register patients into the EPIC system
* Obtain necessary signatures and resolve demographic and insurance edits
* Provide patient estimates on potential financial responsibilities and collect payments
