Duties
• Ensure personnel meet the logistical requirements for operations and training programs.
• Monitor manpower schedules to track costs regarding allocations and equipment required to ensure operational readiness.
• Direct logistical management operations to ensure all organizational services are properly coordinated to meet mission requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels confirming equipment is stocked and available for use according to the mission.
• Assign work to personnel based on mission priorities to ensure organizational deadlines are met

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Incumbent must pass a drug test.
• This position is designated as "key" position.
• Incumbent may be required to work overtime on an emergency basis

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include1)
Analyze strategic plans for deployment operations to ensure all required resources are readily available to personnel; 2)
Utilize automated data processing systems to logistically plan organizational missions; and 3)
Coordinate missions among individualized functional areas throughout the organization to ensure operational readiness
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above)
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify
For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
