SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the FMS Maritime Division of the FMS Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT
Duties
• You will serve as the Branch Head and principal technical advisor for IPS and sustainment support of FMS weapon systems and related equipment.
• You will recommend corrective actions, management policies, and procedures to achieve FMS IPS goals and objectives.
• You will adjust and approve budgets and logistics plans to ensure supportability in terms of material affordability.
• You will serve as the technical representative of the Contracting Officer in the monitoring of material and service contracts.
• You will directly supervise approximately a dozen personnel and perform the full range of supervisory functions over subordinates

• This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification
Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes
SCW level required: SC451 Qualifications You resume should demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must include the following: 1) Supporting supply systems/programs and mission requirements by managing workloads and assigning tasks; 2) Reviewing and analyzing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Product Support (IPS) plans, policies, and procedures; 3) Allocating, adjusting, and reviewing budgets to support logistics plans; 4) Briefing upper management and customers through oral and written communication; 5) Directing and supervising subordinates by ensuring mission objectives and goals are being met, communicating work policies and procedures, developing training programs, etc
