Gain approval for, track, and engage in activities that meet the organization's 1% for Social Change Requirement Position Specific Duties: Work with the Director of Sexual Assault Program to establish and effectively manage an active case load Document and report any participant related information in a manner that complies with federal and state requirements as well as in conjunction with program and organization policies and procedures Enter advocacy hours daily into statewide database. Attend community events such as resources fairs in coordination with the Director of Sexual Assault Track hours work and update timesheet weekly and by end of month deadline Ensure comprehension of program and organizational policies and procedures and follow them Provide direct service, in English or in Spanish, to primary and secondary victims of sexual assault including general, medical, and legal advocacy on-site and off-site which may include, but is not limited to: Providing support and information over the phone, video conferencing and in-person Responding to hospitals, schools, juvenile detention, Clark County jail, courthouse and prosecutor's office Communicating with law enforcement and legal agencies Work with victim survivors of sexual assault using an empowerment-based advocacy model to: Offer emotional support Provide relevant information and resources Answer complex questions and address concerns Make mandatory reports as legally required Work as a team to co-facilitate the DV/SA (domestic Violence/Sexual Assault) Latina Women's support group which may include: Plan relevant topics with potential secondary topics Facilitate hour-long discussions based on group needs Submit intake and reporting paperwork Invite guest speakers to support group meetings as appropriate.
