If you're an analytically thinking self-starter who enjoys a challenge and has a positive can-do attitude, we'd love to hear from you.What you’d be doing:Lead and mentor a team of insurance product engineers focusing on delivering insurance products for commercial lines.Facilitating engineering deployments for insurance product launches and maintenance.Coordinate with Project Management on deployment cadences.Perform and communicate data-based impact analysis on broader issues on a policy level.Provide support through the execution of corrective actions on remediations.Identifying areas of workflow and process deficiencies within existing product ecosystem.Foster collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional stakeholders to address organizational issues.Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned. We’re looking for someone who has:Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products.Ability to work with cross-functional teams to solve organizational issues.Ability to problem-solve, manage workload, and plan to meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in creating functional documentation.Interest in process automation.Experience leading, organizing, and executing work for a team of analysts or engineers.Experience with workforce management software (JIRA).Highly preferred candidates also have:Previous experience in the Insurance industry experience, preferably personal lines, homeowners, and/or commercial BOP.Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON.Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R.Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab.About SageSure:As a Best Places to Work in Insurance Recipient for four years in a row (2020-2023), SageSure, one of the largest residential property insurance managing general underwriter (MGU) in the United States, is pioneering ways people protect their American Dream.A leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, SageSure was founded in 2009 to deliver reliable products, exceptional customer experiences, and strong underwriting results in challenging insurance markets.
