Summary Description:

We are looking for a person who can build relationships as they lead the design, implementation, and communication of policies and practices that foster a holistic employee experience. Grounded in anti-racism, wellness, and sustainability, you'll engage employees by providing guidance on policies, coaching, conflict resolution, mediation and conducting investigations into employee concerns.

What We Offer: As part of the total compensation for this role, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:

Anticipated Salary Range: $70,070 to $94,595 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and administer HR policies and procedures that reflect our cultural values and norms and meet legal and compliance requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consultation on employment laws, HR processes, and supportive resources for employees and supervisors.
  • Enhance the employee experience by addressing employee and supervisor concerns, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure information about HR policies is accurate, accessible, and appropriately transparent through venues such as the HR website, HR front desk standard operating procedures, and other documentation.

Additional Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of compliance, employee relations, employment law, or other related experience.
  • Experience in policy development, process design and supporting documentation with a systems lens.
  • Prior experience in conducting investigations, developing guidance, providing coaching and being a consultative partner to community members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coaching experience or certification
  • Training or certifications in mediation or restorative justice practices
