CoorstekManager Supplier Relationship & Quality MgmtGolden, ColoradoReq ID: R-101441Manufacturing and OperationsRecruiter's Rating:Salary: $97,208–$130,000 / yrFee: 20% | Open to bidStart: Aug 14, 2018Re-posted 19 hours agoJob req ID: R-101441Job descriptionRoles & Responsibilities:Develop & Manage a Global Supplier Management Program across CoorsTek by establishing a simplified and standardized supplier management processes including supplier selection, on-boarding, performance management/scorecards and monitoring, auditing (supplier self-audits, on-site audits), supplier categorization and segmentation, supplier decertification and removal, and frequent supplier business reviews to review KPIs, drive development, address issues and opportunities (data driven actions).Develop tools and procedures that allow for data collection and trending to capture current and historical KPIs, corrective actions, audit data etc., at the sites. Implement proper database, forms and work procedures/processes for the facilities to follow and comply with.Develop and harmonize the SRQM process and develop accompanying toolkits and templates to make SRQM explicit across CoorsTek so that they are fully known and utilized, supported with the proper toolkit(s) and supplier strategiesManage the SRQM program for key/critical suppliers through cross-functional teams from business operations, engineering, SCM, planning and commercialSupplier Selection: Establish criteria and requirements in selecting suppliers across CoorsTek based on supplier ability, risk and other applicable criteria based on the product and segment.Supplier Communications and Relationship Management: Plan and manage communications approach with suppliers (including internal organization, supplier organization, mapping of relationships, meetings plan, review points, external marketing of relationship, basic rules of engagement, etc.). Increase the responsiveness of the supply chain (Faster problem solving/time to market). Enhance supplier relationships (Collaboration on quality improvements, Co-development of new products/services, Collaboration on new customer propositions)Supplier Development: Facilitate value-driven, long-term improvements in supplier products / services / relationship from key suppliers by identifying critical areas for development and working with supplier in a collaborative fashion to drive improvements.Supplier Risk Management: Monitor ongoing supplier relationship risks and evolving external environment risks and implement appropriate mitigating actions. Develop full visibility on relevant risks and mitigation approach developed with suppliers. Improve security of supply (Supplier giving you priority in times of tight supply/capacity)Performance Measurement and Monitoring: measure and monitor performance of relevant KPIs across multiple dimensions (e.g., balanced scorecard approach) potentially using automated systems, covering both internal and supplier performance (and benchmarking), in line with requirements defined in the supplier engagement strategy. Jointly develop Key Performance measures with suppliers and automate the creation of performance scorecardsUplift the SRQM skills and competencies through the development and execution of standard training program(s) with Key SRQM stakeholders throughout our facilitiesBecome a 'customer of choice' (Supplier giving you innovations/ ideas ahead of competitors)Deliver on cost reduction targets (Collaboration on cost efficiency of supply chain)Job Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field preferred or equivalent experience.  Masters desiredExperience:7+ years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management and Supplier Quality & DevelopmentHands-on engineering and/or plant operational experience preferredPrevious experience in the development and utilization of key sourcing and supply chain management tools and processes requiredExperience with quality methods like PPAP, Six Sigma or LeanExperienced in running supplier improvement workshopsFunctional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Abilities in influencing, problem solving, decision making, and relationship buildingStrong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilitiesProven record implementing tools, techniques and methodologies in a variety of business areas (operations, supplier quality/management, supply chain, and sourcing/procurement)Strong skills in deployment of systems/processesDemonstrated competence in cost reduction and process improvementProficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to multi-task in a dynamic environmentLeads best practice and deployment of knowledge management processes and tools.Drives the latest thinking and techniques in Supplier Relationship & Quality Management, Supplier Quality Management and other processesTechnical/functional competencies: sourcing, negotiating & contract management, supply market analyses, spend analyses, operational excellence, cost management, risk management and supplier management.Relational competencies: envisioning, leadership style, project & program management, change management, process & organizational design, influencing, issue solving, personal relationships and emphatic behavior.Developmental competencies: innovation power, sustainability, continuous improvement, lean and/or agile operations, production capacity and information management.Industry:EntertainmentEmployment type:Full TimeExperience:10 yearSkills:Manager Supplier Relationship & Quality Mgmt
