Sr Program Manager, PMO

Hologic is seeking a Sr. Manager, PMO who will be dedicated to program management of new assay development and instrumentation/engineering project and programs. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.Act as an independent leader of complex assay development programs, technically challenging product development projects, and diverse product sustaining initiatives involving cross-functional teamsEstablish project objectives and work plans including schedule, budgets, scope, resource requirements and communicate proposals to leadershipExert influence within a highly matrixed organizationUtilize expertise to proactively identify and resolve product and project risksDrive for program success while ensuring consistency and alignment across all product development projects by overcoming constraints, problems, and issuesExpert at project scheduling using MS Project, including dependencies and critical path determination and optimizationDemonstrated leadership including ability to identify key issues, motivate and empower others to address them in a way which builds morale, generates ownership and commitmentSelf-starter with superior problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills and a track record for high performance and superior deliverySound grasp of the key business drivers and considerations in the biotech and/or life science industries and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or servicesQualifications Advanced knowledge in Program Management/LeadershipAdvanced knowledge and deep understanding of stage-gate Product Development processExpert in Product Development including Design Control proceduresExpert in management of project risksStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent interviewing and influencing skillsExperience with ISO and FDA quality systems regulations and medical design and development cyclesEducation BS Degree in Science or Engineering required. MS, M.B.A or equivalent degree preferredPMP Certification preferredExperienceMinimum of 10 years’ experience in Program Management leading large, cross functional development programs that have delivered commercially successful products which exceed customer and commercial expectationsExperience running programs that included assay development and validation Experience within Diagnostics marketplace preferred; Molecular Diagnostics experience is a plusThe annualized base salary range for this role is $144,000 to $175,400 and is bonus eligible.
