You’ll then assign components to the software team and follow the project through all phases of the V Development Cycle. This includes keeping the team accountable for software project milestones and working with the hardware team on integration.Community InformationNovi, MI is right in the heart of the automotive industry’s tech hub.  It’s home to great schools, residential communities, shopping, and entertainment.  You have quick access to anything from a Tiger’s game downtown to beautiful outdoor landscapes.Background ProfileExpertise in automotive embedded software development, including requirements management, code-level development (Matlab/Simulink a plus), developing graphic-based architecture, and guiding junior-level engineers.7+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development (at least 1-2 modules from the ground up), including AUTOSAR architecture and ASPICE.Exposure to the full development life-cycle, from concept to release.Working knowledge of vehicle control systems (power and motor controls a plus), including the microcontrollers involved. BSEE or BSCE (MSEE/CE a plus).Salary Range: $120,000-135,000/year, plus bonus (may be some flexibility upwards for industry-leading expertise)Type: Direct-HireTravel: MinimalRelocation Assistance: Subject to reviewVisa Sponsorship: H1B transfers or TNType: direct hire
