LMI is seeking an HSEEP Exercise Specialist to support a federal customer in Washington, DC. This position requires an active Secret clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Support exercise project teams for exercise design, planning, conduct, and post-exercise reporting for both discussion-based and operations-based exercises in accordance with HSEEP methodology.
  • Direct facilitation of exercise meetings/events, and research, discussion and authoring of observations and recommendations for after-action reports and improvement plans in support of federal exercise leads.  
  • Conduct trend analyses from exercise data, capturing innovative practices and lessons learned, and track implementation activities to be shared with a variety of agencies and organizations.
  • Communicate technically complex topics for a variety of audiences, including senior government officials. 

Required:

  • Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience
  • Previous experience in Exercise planning and execution through application Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) methodology
  • Proficient in SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent communications skills, written and oral
  • This position requires an active Secret clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of laboratory processing of biological pathogen samples and understanding of the Laboratory Response Network/Integrated Consortium of Laboratory Networks
