Join us and make a difference.Line Manager of eCOA Ops Specialists within Global Clinical Trial Management, crossing all therapeutic areas and research phases.Position Summary / ObjectiveManages resourcing, performance, training, and career development for eCOA Ops SpecialistsMember of Department Leadership Team focused on development, accountability and success of team members.Lead or contribute to department process and continuous improvement activitiesContributes to cross functional processes and initiatives (in collaboration with WWHEOR, Data Management, etc.)Leverage interpersonal and influencing skills to foster partnerships across global and/or multidisciplinary teamsPosition ResponsibilitiesLine Manager for a team of eCOA Ops Specialists Manage direct reports’ work assignments. Contribute to resource allocation decisions, taking into account strategy to ensure best fits for work assignmentPartner with direct reports to create and monitor career development plansManage performance including check-ins and year-end activitiesIdentify individual development needs and coach for successContribute to compensation decisionsOversee onboarding process including task-specific trainingMember of Department Leadership TeamCollaborate with Line Manager colleagues to develop and enhance department processes (as appropriate)Share Lessons Learned relative to people management or processLead or contribute to development of new processes and Continuous Improvement efforts within the greater Clinical Operations or BMS organizations eCOA (Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment) SuperUser Network/COAM (Clinical Outcomes Assessment Management) representationMember of the eCOA governance structure at the OSC (Operations Steering Committee) and OMC (Operations Management Committee) levelsUpdate training requirements and documentation as processes are updatedRequirementsBachelor’s Degree Required5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, data/information technology experience preferably in the area of clinical trial, data or technology managementExperience in line management (talent identification, development, coaching, performance management) and resource allocation preferredKnowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines, regulations and BMS procedures/policiesAbility to analyze and interpret complex issues and propose solutionsExperience with team collaborations and driving innovationProject Management and planning skillsAbility to effectively respond to regulatory trends, internal audits, inspection activities including root cause analysis/Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) plans for any findingsProject/change management, coaching skills, effective oral and written communication, resource allocation, leadership presence.  Enterprise mindset and able to connect key principles or people to produce refined concepts and processes.#LI-HybridAround the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
