**Responsibilities**
Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
+ Greet patients and visitors, respond to questions/concerns and directs them to appropriate location.
+ Provide on-going communication with clinical staff regarding patient status.
+ Collect and enter all necessary demographic, clinical, billing and insurance information from patients or responsible parties.
+ Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures and ensure that all documents are properly signed and witnessed as required.
+ Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.
**Requirements**
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
+ Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required.
+ Previous education in medical terminology strongly preferred.
Work Experience:
+ Experience in the job related field preferred.
