Job Description
The Client Systems Technician installs and repairs equipment; instructs customers in equipment operation; provides technical assistance; checks equipment for malfunctions to provide reliable high-quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.
Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
The Client Systems Technician travels frequently to customer sites and performs field technician service duties as assigned.
Provides CAC/PKI and RA/LRA functions related to the creation, revocation, suspension and issuance of SIPRNet Tokens and SIPRNet Administrative Tokens.
Works as part of the team to support the SLD 30 and CFSCC missions on a 24/7/365 basis..
Works final processing of DD Form 2875s for SIPRNet account requests and subsequent creation of SIPRNet user accounts.
