Pay Range: $49.27/hr - $57.89/hr - $66.51/hr# *Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $57.89/hr, based on applicable experience POSITION SUMMARY: The Provider Liaison#s primary role is to improve physician satisfaction and adoption throughout the organization with education and supportive functions related to the use of the Electronic Health Record and related technologies.## The Provider Liaison is responsible for establishing support partnerships with Enloe physicians and advanced practitioners.##They maintain stakeholder-level communication with providers and provider groups to encourage a continuous collaboration in support of Enloe clinical workflows, business processes, and tools.# The Provider Liaisons serve as the principal support staff for physicians and advanced practitioners throughout the hospital, Enloe clinics and non-Enloe clinics.# The Provider# Liaison requires strong clinical expertise and an understanding of provider workflow requirements, utilizing evidence based practices, facilitating the integration of data, information, education and knowledge to support physicians and other clinicians in their decision-making through the use of information structures, processes and technology. The Provider Liaison is responsible for providing the following services to physicians and advanced practitioners: training delivery, at-the-elbow support, workflow review, documentation support, efficiency analysis # improvement and issue management. Additionally, the Provider Liaison provides clinical review for physician lesson plans, workbooks, help files and other documentation before distribution and classroom use.# EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Minimum: ?#Previous experience utilizing healthcare information technology ?#Two years of acute experience working with physicians Desired: ?#Experience working collaboratively with physicians, preferably supporting physician adoption of technology ?#Good understanding of the organizational electronic health record systems or other major vendors equal modules, applications or systems ?#Experience using Epic in the inpatient and/or ambulatory setting LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: ?#Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing ?#Current CPR recognition SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: This person must have good communication skills and demonstrated the ability to work and train physicians on Information Technology. Must have demonstrated ability to use electronic health record system effectively. Ability to effectively use desktop applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to apply logic to the analysis, development and implementation of complex workflow and information system solutions and be able to successfully implement these solutions in the assigned area. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential for working in a complex and varied work environment. Examples include: working with multiple implementations in great detail, interruptions, coordinating and negotiating different expectations and commitments among multiple hospital departments and physicians. Conflict management skills are necessary to resolve conflicts within and among departments and disciplines throughout the Organization and with physicians.# Change management skills are necessary to lead implementations that will result in significant changes to work flow process for associates, physicians, and physicians# office staffs throughout the organization. Knowledge of operations and regulatory requirements pertaining to assigned areas of responsibility.# Proficiency in use of project management, word processing, flowcharting, database, and electronic mail software applications or the ability to learn in a short period of time and the ability to comprehend and utilize technical skills for database management. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
