Summary You will serve as a Assistant Marine Corps Joint and Multinational Doctrine Analyst in the Plans, Policies and Operations Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Duties * You will assist the Marine Corps Program Analyst in reviewing US Military doctrine (MCD) being made for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air force, Coast Guard, etc. * You will help review MCD for consistency with related doctrine and future policy, while communicating with Doctrine Control Branch and Marine Corps Combat Development Command. * You will assist in briefings for Marine Corps leadership that reflect MC positions. * You will address, track, and report on Doctrinal issues and their subsequent solutions to leadership. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing long-term continuity, corporate knowledge, and experience in joint, multinational, service and multiservice doctrine; and assisting in preparing and reviewing doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures while analyzing instructions and manuals as they pertain to doctrine issues.
