Desktop Support Technician Level II with Security Clearance

Tyto is looking for a Desktop Support Level II to join our Westover team in Chicopee, MA. This is a complex, multi-year contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services. Responsibilities: * Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. * Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals * May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. * Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. * Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. * Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise. Requirements: * Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent (IT Support, Helpdesk Support, Support Technician, etc.) * Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity. * Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid. * Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities. * Strong customer support and customer service skills. * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). * Experience working with ServiceNow and Print Release * Active IAT Level II Certification / Active "Security Plus" certification * On site support, Westover, MA.
