Description

The Crisis Mental Health Counselor in the Adult and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention will provide support to the master’s level clinicians in providing crisis intervention or crisis stabilization services to individuals and families in evaluation and care. They help support individuals and their families, and perform a variety of supportive tasks such as assisting with the implementation of the disposition determined by the master’s-level clinician.

Open 7 days per week, with the intention of offering the right service at the right time, overnight shifts are available. The right candidate will have a Bachelor's-level degree or significant experience in the field. They will also need to be able to pass a CORI and driving background check. There will be many optional (and some required) trainings in evidence based care including ARC, de-escalation training, TF-CBT, Zero Suicide Framework and Multi-Systemic Family Therapy.

CHD Adult Mobile Crisis Unit is seeking Bachelors Level Counselors for overnights.

Essential Functions: 

Providing support to clients Assisting clinician in communication around evaluations and with collateral contacts Ability to problem solve, de-escalate, and manage conflict Understanding and utilize electronic health record Serve to model professional service delivery, where client safety and trauma-informed care is held in highest regard Candidates should have some experience working with youth and or in the mental health field.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field. Prior experience in Crisis or Crisis stabilization preferred but not required.

Salary

$21.63/hour, with additional differential built in for overnight hours (+$2/hour).

Schedule

Overnight shift starting between 11pm -12a
