Summary You will serve as a MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Duties * You will use software applications to schedule and prioritize work. * You will establish maintenance schedules to meet maintenance production and quality standards. * You will review workload plans (e.g., staff, equipment, facilities, materials, tools) to determine levels needed to accomplish work. * You will review work performed and monitor progression to confirm attainment of goals and objectives Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Preform predominantly new work as well as maintenance and repair work on buildings, exterior and interior structures and related utilities, facilities and components; 2) Plan, layout and complete the installation, modification and repair of systems; 3) interpreting building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering, drawings, and maintenance and repair manuals to plan and lay out the work and skill to use trade formulas to calculate common properties; and 4) Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
