Supervisory Operations Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties * Participate in crisis action planning in response to DHA involvement in contingency situations within the Networks. * Approve subordinate travel and monitors directorate travel budget. * Interpret regulations and guidance and examines local procedures and practices to ensure compliance with all standards. * Ensure that adequate internal control systems are developed and operative so that government resources are efficiently and effectively managed. * Assign, direct, and coordinate the work of staff members of the Current Operations Branch. * Supervise government civilians and military personnel in their functional areas. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * A Personnel Security Investigation is required. * This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. * One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
