Duties * You will perform studies or assist others with full-scale studies. * You will provide information about and interpret standards of organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administration procedures, practices, and regulations. * You will plan work, set priorities, and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. * You will perform specialized work involving managerial and administrative work in connection with accounting systems, analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with managing funds. * You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice, and instruction, as well as hear and resolve employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures; 2) Demonstrating knowledge of policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution in order to analyze and evaluate changes in program plans and funding; 3) Leading, supervising, motivating, and counseling other employees; and 4) Working independently on routine, continuing assignments.
