Summary You will serve as a RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Command Administration division of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. Duties * You will apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques used to issues concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of the Records and Information program operation. * You will have knowledge of correspondence policies, procedures and techniques. * You will have knowledge of publications and directives systems, record disposal system, requisitioning of directives, publication allowances and composition and publication of directives. * You will develop training materials and effectively conduct training on all facets of records and information management, serialization, forms control and processing. * You will apply effective oral and written communication. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge and skill applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques used to issues concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of the Records and Information program operation; 2) Knowledge of the Records and Information system; 3) Knowledge of correspondence policies, procedures and techniques; 4) Knowledge of publications and directives systems, record disposal system, requisitioning of directives, publication allowances and composition and publication of directives; 5) Ability to develop training materials and effectively conduct training on all facets of records and information management, serialization, forms control and processing; 6) Effective oral and written communication.
