Summary You will serve as a Security Assistant (OA) in the Criminal Investigation and Security Logistics Divisions at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) Security Department, Commander, Navy Region Hawaii (CNRH) of JB PEARL HARBOR HICKAM SEC DET. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Duties * You will advise staff on administrative processes within the organization and provide administrative support for CID and logistics operations. * You will review and import weekly execution of posts/positions using the Mission Execution Report (MXR) precinct management tool or other Navy system for tracking manpower utilization. * You will assist applicants/employees with completing security clearance documents and coordinate processing of clearances and visit requests with securitymanagers. * You will serve as building manager and coordinate periodic facility inspections, when needed. * You will handle adverse personnel actions requiring completion of forms, and/or security clearance suspension, revocation, or denial. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing and/or maintaining security documents and records; 2) Procuring and/or managing supplies to ensure sufficient supplies and compliance with regulations; 3) Analyzing administrative functions to evaluate efficiency and make recommendations for improvements; 4) Utilizing office automation software to prepare reports in the correct format.
