LEAD POLICE OFFICER with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Lead Police Officer of NAS JACKSONVILLE SEC DET. Duties * You will control access to secure areas by checking all facilities (e.g., gates, locks, fence lines, designated sensitive buildings) to protect an installation. * You will explain policies, goals, procedures, and regulations to assigned law enforcement personnel. * You will conduct random searches of vehicles to detect unauthorized removal of classified material, government property, contraband, weapons, or explosives. * You will initiate action when unlawful entries or other violations are found as a result of making physical security checks of buildings. * You will use established techniques and procedures to seize and protect evidence. * You will write crime scene reports containing evidence and statements gathered.
