INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

Duties * You will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications and participating in the planning and implementation of new cloud-based software applications required for the efficient operation of various business/training systems. * You will serve as an application developer and technical expert in the development and sustainment of web based applications, sites, and portals along with providing technical solutions in complex enterprise-wide networks. * You will be responsible for application design techniques that include integrating existing data environments using existing commercial interfaces or custom-designed web-based service interfaces. * You will analyze requirements and develop well-defined project plans in support of System Change Requests and projects worked by the application and cross functional teams. * You will coordinate with stakeholders, project managers, software developers, Information System Security Officer, and customers on procedures for maintaining security compliance and processing of unclassified information. * You will ensure application security is in compliance with applicable security controls and accreditation for the Authority to Operate Information Technology automation systems and networks as stipulated in federal regulations.
