Duties * As the Law Enforcement Specialist, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following: * Provide support for the law enforcement mission, to include crime reporting, DA standards, and IMCOM implementation and operations requirements. * Monitor law enforcement information management regarding police operations and communications interface. * Recommend modification or development of programs in support of law enforcement reporting missions. * Evaluate threat information to identify indicators of terrorist threat conditions. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment. * Temporary duty travel (5% or less) away from the normal duty station may be required. Specialized experience required: At least one FULL year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience experience assisting with the management of law enforcement missions; and, advising on the impact and changes of installation law enforcement program guidelines, policies and regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: * Communications

* Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -NO substitution of education for experience is permitted.
