Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: * Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. * Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget. * Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. * Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. * Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. * Serve as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. * Ensure that team members understand project objectives. * Maintains product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals. * Preserves flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes. * Is the facilitator for an agile development team. * The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged.Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience or Master's degree with 6 years experience or HS Diploma/equivalent and 12 years experience
* U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
* Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
* Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management
* Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications: * CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification
Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
