Description SAIC is looking for a Salesforce Developer to help us support Salesforce based projects at NASA. This vital role will help us expand several of NASA's capabilities leveraging the Salesforce Platform. Job Description: * As a Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining customized solutions using the Salesforce Platform * Gathering, developing and analyzing business requirements for solution design on Salesforce.com * Utilizing object-oriented programming and design concepts to advise clients on Salesforce.com solutions * Developing custom applications and performing unit testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages * Performing data migration using Salesforce.com Data Loader * Using Force.com IDE to deploy and migrate applications * Creating process and business flow diagrams use cases, story boards, training documents and job aids for end users and business users using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint; Supporting and maintaining the applications on Salesforce.com to ensure optimal performance Qualifications Required Education: * Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience Required Skills: * 4+ years of hands on experience on Sales/Service Cloud platform and integrations * SFDC Experience working in Lightning/Communities, Lightning Web Components, APEX class / coding, Custom coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Flows, CSS, HTML, Templates and Web Services * Experience with GitLab * Experience with SFDX * Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology * Prior experience in Project or program management * Experience working with agile methodology * Salesforce Certifications * Understanding of Salesforce Design and Development Best Practices, Apex Design Clearance: * Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
