SAP BASIS Administrator Position Location - Montvale, NJ (Full-Time). Key Responsibilities:
  • System Stability & Support: Ensure Hyperscaler cloud and SAP RISE-hosted SAP ERP ecosystems are stable and reliable. Provide support for new roll-outs.
  • Daily Operations: Support SAP ECC 607, SAP S/4HANA, PO, BW BPC, GRC, FIORI, MDG, EWM/TM, SolMan, ChaRM, HANA DB, and other SAP applications on SAP RISE on Azure.
  • Expertise & Collaboration: Serve as SAP Basis subject matter expert, guiding team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Operational Activities: Manage object transports, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
  • Technical Delivery: Oversee SAP Basis, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, and Database (HANA, SAP IQ, Sybase ASE) delivery.
  • Security & Best Practices: Establish SAP Security processes and best practices for ECC, HANA, Fiori, Solution Manager, CHaRM, and Portal Security.
  • Configuration & Management: Install, configure, manage SAP Fiori applications, web dispatcher, database servers, and application servers in the Hyperscaler Cloud environment.
  • System Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and implement SAP system upgrades and maintenance, including support packages, enhancement packs, and kernel upgrades.
  • Performance Optimization: Design HANA 2.0 table partitioning strategies, optimize SQL statements, and execute SAP tuning strategies.
  • Administration & Mentorship: Lead HANA XS/XSA applications administration, mentor junior team members, and automate SAP Basis activities.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 12+ years in SAP Basis administration with expertise in SAP Enterprise Components, S/4HANA, Business Intelligence, Portals, PI/PO, BOBJ, BODS, BW, GRC, FIORI, Solution Manager 7.2, and NetWeaver.
  • Cloud Management: Experience managing SAP ERP Systems, including S/4HANA in hyperscaler clouds (SAP RISE).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in NetWeaver ABAP/JAVA Admin, SAP HANA Basis, Certificate handling, System Integration, and Interfaces.
  • Disaster Recovery: Experience in developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • HANA Architecture: Deep understanding and hands-on experience in HANA architecture, HA/DR, HSR, MDC, and performance optimizations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and technical foundation. Proficient in Linux (SLES and RHEL) and Windows operating systems.

This full-time role requires a seasoned SAP Basis Administrator with strong technical and leadership skills to manage and optimize SAP environments on SAP RISE on Azure Hyperscaler.
