Click here to see how you can paint your future The Senior SAP Cloud Basis Administrator to ensure the day-to-day operation and administration of a 24 x 7 SAP ERP and S/4 HANA environments in SAP RISE and other Hyperscaler Clouds. The person holding this role will be responsible for ensuring that SAP systems are stable, reliable, and upgraded as needed, as well as providing support for new roll-outs. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management and time management skills. The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.

Responsibilities

The administrator holding this role will be responsible for ensuring that Hyperscaler cloud and SAP RISE-hosted SAP ERP and its ecosystems are stable, reliable, and upgraded as needed, as well as providing support for new roll-outs Responsible for day-to-day support of existing SAP ECC 607, SAP S/4HANA, PO, SAP BW BPC, GRC, FIORI, S/4HANA MDG, S/4HANA EWM/TM, SolMan and ChaRM, HANA DB and other SAP applications on SAP RISE on Azure Hyperscaler. Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP Basis within the organization, providing guidance and support to other team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Basis solutions Execute daily operational activities related to the SAP Environment including object transports, setup/configuration, operational SAP monitoring, troubleshooting and error handling, performance/tuning, and problem determination/resolution Responsible for technical delivery in the areas of SAP Basis, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, and Database (HANA, SAP IQ, Sybase ASE) Maintain multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training, and production) Establish SAP Security processes, governance, and Best Practices for ECC, HANA, Fiori Solution Manager, CHaRM, Portal Security Install and configure SAP Fiori Applications; Troubleshoot and upgrade Fiori Apps as required Design and implement optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability Install, configure, and manage all required SAP database servers and application servers in the Hyperscaler Cloud environment, especially SAP RISE Install, configure, and manage SAP web dispatcher, create new rules, maintain permission tables, and routing to backend systems Understanding and deep knowledge of Certificate and key management Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies Lead the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades and SAP maintenance (support packages, enhancement packs, kernel upgrades) through all systems Design HANA 2.0 table partitioning strategies/architecture and implement as required to improve application stability and performance Identify, analyze, and optimize expensive SQL statements to improve application performance Implement SAP HANA database encryption on SAP HANA databases that are already installed during Operations Expert in administrating the HANA XS/XSA (standard and custom) applications using load balancers including the application security to be consumed by internal and external consumers. Must be familiar with hands-on experience on pre and post homogeneous System copy end-to-end procedures in multiapplication SAP and non-SAP eco environment Must be proficient in understanding the SAP applications network and resolve the issues in a timely manner Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge in SAP Basis Execute Transport and Correction procedural standards complying with Change Control Board's requirements Provide updates on forecasts and recent developments in SAP technology SAP system monitoring for superior performance and health Troubleshoot issues with job scheduling, transport management, and printer administration. Drive automation of SAP Basis activities Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks for all infrastructure and networking components

Qualifications

SAP Basis Administrator with 12+ years' experience with SAP Enterprise Components (ECC), SAP S/4HANA, Business Intelligence (BI), SAP Enterprise Portals, Process Integration (PI) /Process Orchestration, Business Objects (BOBJ), BODS, Business Warehouse (BW) Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), FIORI, Solution Manager 7.2 and NetWeaver technologies Experience in managing the SAP ERP Systems including S/4HANA in hyperscaler clouds (SAP RISE) Expertise in NetWeaver ABAP/JAVA Admin and SAP HANA Basis and Certificate handling Experience in System Integration and Interfaces Experience developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery Plans Deep understanding of HANA architecture and hands-on experience in HA/DR, HSR, MDC, and its operational and support aspects. Experience in HANA database Diagnostics files, thread dump analysis, CPU and memory optimizations, Cluster configuration, Scale-out architecture SAP Application performance optimizations - Work process utilization, Enqueue analysis Good understanding of critical HANA parameters and impact Minimum of twelve (12) years of technical experience utilizing SAP Basis is required A bachelor's degree (or higher) or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
