Company Summary

This company manufactures power distribution equipment, cable, and generator docking stations within their state-of-the-art facility in Faribault, MN. They work to create products that are built to last using the highest quality materials, top-of-the-line production equipment, and industry-leading engineering practices.

What you’ll do as a Material Handler:
  • Conduct material transactions according to production schedule and Epicor (ERP) signals
  • Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate equipment and manufacture the product
  • Learn to pull, issue, and transfer parts within Epicor (ERP)
  • Learn to use/get certified on various forklifts
  • Read and understand job travelers and sales orders
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Clean, restock, and organize the warehouse area
What you need to be a Material Handler:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect purchased parts
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational, and coordination abilities
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
  • Ability to lift, stand, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to participate in a pre-employment physical and drug test #NEjobhunt
