Company Summary
Dianne’s Fine Desserts has been serving up inspiring, mouth-watering, and memorable desserts for over 40 years. They are a leading provider of premium frozen thaw-and-serve desserts to the food service and in-store retail industries. Dianne’s product line includes cheesecakes, layer cakes, pies and tarts, brownies/bars, and individual minis and specialty desserts.
What you will do as a Mixing Team Lead: 
  • Coordinate department activities within a production area to ensure department and company production is met in a timely manner
  • Promptly communicate any potential outages or shortcomings to Supervisor
  • Coordinate and participate in Continuous Improvement, Safety, and Quality initiatives, providing feedback for the creation of work procedures
  • Ensure all required departmental checks are performed as required
  • Properly track and record downtime
  • Support autonomous maintenance through use of CID and CL standards
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis / Investigations
  • Promote Food Safety by following all standards
  • Complete daily production records and reports
  • Complete routine audits to ensure processes are followed
  • Perform effective handoffs and communication at shift change 
  • Ensure the correct inventory of supplies is present for the required jobs to be performed. 
  • Ensure adequate training is provided to all Mixers and provide oversight on complex recipes
  • Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
  • Scan, copy, and file paperwork    
What you need to be a Mixing Team Lead:
  • Must be able to operate, and in some cases assemble production mixing equipment
  • Must be able and willing to assume responsibility when supervisor is absent
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of Manufacturing related experience, preferably in food production
  • Bilingual/Spanish or Somali(speaking/writing/ reading)
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs. very frequently and up to 50 lbs. frequently
