PeopleShare is currently hiring for a Quality Control Specialist in Plainsboro, NJ

The Pharmaceutical QC Specialist is responsible for conducting various analytical tests and ensuring the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products with regulatory standards. This role involves performing routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques. The QC Chemist will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and quality of products.

Job Details for Quality Control Specialist:

  • Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm
  • Pay- $28-30/hr
  • Contract-Hire


Job Responsibilities for Quality Control Specialist:

1. Analytical Testing:

- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and other analytical methods.

- Conduct stability testing and method validation to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions.

- Prepare and review analytical reports, SOPs, and validation protocols in accordance with GMP and GLP guidelines.

3. Quality Assurance:

- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations and guidelines.

- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

4. Laboratory Maintenance:

- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

- Ensure the laboratory environment is clean, safe, and organized, following all safety protocols.

Job Requirements for Quality Control Specialist:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory or similar environment.

- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.

- Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations.
