The Human Resource Screening Specialist is responsible for the day to day operations of the background screening process. This individual, along with counterparts, will be managing all candidates who are currently onboarding with Compass Health and will provide administrative support to the HR department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC

  • Conduct initial background screenings (FCSR, OIG, SAMS, education verification, drug screen, etc.)
  • Complete E-Verification process
  • Process and upload new hire forms and documentation into personnel record
  • Gather, track and report data for Human Resources related reports as needed. Ex: anniversary lists, Class E license, etc.
  • Create employee name badges
  • Assist with personnel filing, following all legal guidelines
  • Assist with staff notifications (mailings, intra-agency mailings, electronic mailings)
  • Provide backup support for Human Resource staff when needed
  • Perform research for Human Resources topics as directed
  • Special projects as assigned

    QUALIFICATION(S): EDUCATION

    High School/GED required

    QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    At least two (2) years Human Resources experience preferred
