Our new product lines include fireplaces, European thermally broken Aluminum and Steel doors and windows, custom cabinetry, and natural stone or engineered surfaces.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales & Design Consultant at Solara Custom Living in Dallas, TX. The Sales & Design Consultant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as providing excellent customer service, conducting showroom and outside sales activities, and utilizing their knowledge of design, and product knowledge to assist customers in creating their dream spaces.


Responsibilities

  • Customer service and sales skills
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients consisting of builders, designers, architects and homeowners
  • Acquire general knowledge in the building industry regarding technical terms, reading architectural plans to accurately prepare quotes on any of the product lines offered
  • Generate new sales opportunities through calls, outside sales visits, construction permits and networking
  • Research product lines offered as well as general knowledge of our competitors
  • Proficiency in products offered to assist with best solution for customer needs
  • Project inspections during sales process with ability to scope the entire work potential, quote, photograph
  • Complete documents on time, including customer proposals, change orders, design requests, photography
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Ability to work well in a team and individually with minimal supervision required
  • Results-Driven with specific individual and team goals
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excel in time management skills
  • Experience in the high-end residential or commercial space design, building or sales is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as design, architecture or construction is preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

Salary Information

Base salary the first 4-6 months and progression to commission once fully trained and showing sales results. Salary for sales consultant ranges from $60K - $120K
