*Job Overview:*
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract in Hospital setting will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services under the supervision of the Occupational Therapy Supervisor and Director of Rehabilitation Services.
* *Location:* 450 E. Romie Lane, Salinas, CA 93901, US
* *Shift:* 5 days/week (8-hour shifts)
* *Contract:* 13 weeks
* *Pay Rate:* $55-$58/hr
* *Setting:* Inpatient hospital

*Responsibilities:*
* Assess patients and create care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families.
* Provide OT interventions, patient education, and track treatment progress.
* Administer care plans for all ages, including children, focusing on fine motor skills, self-help skills, development, and adaptive equipment.
* Coordinate with Case Managers for post-hospitalization care.
* Maintain cost-effective treatment plans and document all patient treatment accurately.
* Assist in the orientation of new employees and supervise therapy students and assistants.
* Assume duties of Charge Therapist when required.
* Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and provide excellent service to all staff, patients, and associates.

*Qualifications:*
* California Occupational Therapy License.
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - American Heart Association.
* *Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an OT*
* *Inpatient hospital experience required.*

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.85 - $58.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
