Responsibilities:

  • QKD Research and Development: Lead and contribute to groundbreaking research in Quantum Key Distribution, developing innovative protocols and algorithms for secure communication.
  • Experimental Design and Implementation: Design, simulate, and execute experiments to validate and optimize QKD protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate QKD solutions into practical applications.
  • Security Analysis: Conduct rigorous security assessments of QKD systems, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures to ensure robust quantum-secure communication.
  • Algorithm Optimization: Work on the improvement and optimization of existing QKD algorithms, staying abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing and cryptography.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, presenting research findings, and collaborating with industry experts to advance quantum technology adoption.


Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Quantum Information Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Quantum Key Distribution, Quantum Random Number Generation or Post-Quantum Cryptography, with a strong publication record in reputable journals or conferences.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and testing QKD protocols in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in Quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq), and familiarity with relevant simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
