  • Projects include movement of distribution cable from overhead to underground and upgrades to existing facilities. Must have demonstrated experience in that area and be able to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
  • Visit projects weekly when in construction phase
  • Utilize the phase/gate project management process
  • Attend walkdowns in the field and attend site meetings as needed.
  • Resolve issues and understand projects
  • Follow client process for projects
  • Manage all stages of the project from inception through commissioning.
  • Present to management and develop/maintain project status reports.

Qualifications:

  • Distribution PM with 7+ years of experience
  • Must be able to respond to issues in the field so the PM must be located within a reasonable distance of metro Detroit.
  • Must have electric power delivery experience or underground gas delivery experience
  • PMI Certification is a plus
