What will you be doing as a Transport Engineer
- You will focus on the coordination of all fiber-based solutions to support new technologies via upgrades and new construction locations.
- This position will be engaged in the planning design and execution for IP assignment and management Canvas CND documentation and internal FUZE communication for the fiber connectivity projects.
- You will closely collaborate with various stakeholders RF Design team Network Assurance Construction Real estate and Telco Vendors to help optimize the fiber designs of new and existing technologies while ensuring that IP assignments are understood to accommodate new RF radio and baseband configurations.
- You will be performing a technical role including end to end oversight for multiple transport solutions
What do you bring to the table as a Transport Engineer?
- IP assignment 10G cell site router knowledge dark fiber and microwave network design.
- 3 or more years of Transport design experience in the cellular/telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge in CWDM/DWDM Optical Transport systems including: Ciena Nokia and Cisco.
- Experience with Dark Fiber vendors ordering processes and network portfolio maps.
- Microwave design software experience.
- Experience with circuit database tracking.
- Proficient in office computer applications: Excel Word PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
