Position Overview

Provide support to Transmission Structures by utilizing PLS-CADD analysis and conducting peer and 3rd party reviews. This role is pivotal in the generation and delivery of sustainable and flexible power


Key Experience

  • Candidate must be familiar with the PLS-CADD suite of software including proficiency with advanced FE/SAPS modeling techniques including as-built wire system modeling.
  • Experience with TOWER and ASCE 10 required.
  • Ten (10) years full time professional experience actively engaged in high-voltage engineering practice.
  • Act as advisor and mentor to less experienced Designers and Engineers
  • Perform design reviews
  • Perform lead role in structural engineering for Transmission Structures
  • Lead special project estimating and scoping
  • Contributed to the authoring, publishing and/or presenting of internal or external technical papers.
  • Perform optimization analysis and project scoping; considering standard and non­standard structure and materials to meet the planning and project needs, while also meeting standards, specifications, construction and maintenance needs .
