The Opportunity

As a Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our plant operations. Your leadership will drive a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. This permanent position will report to the President and will be responsible for the following key responsibilities;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, enhance productivity, and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead impactful projects that have a company-wide impact, leveraging data analysis and innovative solutions.
  • Uphold safety, environmental, and quality guidelines, ensuring adherence to regulations and customer requirements.
  • Champion a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for Managers and Supervisors.
  • Measure performance, provide constructive feedback, and hold leaders accountable.
  • Mentor and nurture the growth of all team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer meaningful feedback.
  • Directly leverage and indirectly manage resources at the plant.
  • Optimize throughput, control costs, and maintain quality standards.

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience in a large, matrixed type business).
  • Proven track record in plant management or related roles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence change.
  • Passion for customer service and creative problem solving.
