Our client seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our global legal department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advising the company on all matters related to labor and employment law. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while providing strategic guidance to senior management and HR professionals.


Labor and Employment Corporate Counsel Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and employee benefits.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Represent the company in employment-related litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
  • Collaborate closely with HR professionals to develop proactive strategies for managing employment-related risks and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations and update internal stakeholders as needed.


Labor and Employment Corporate Counsel Qualifications:

  • J.D. and licensed attorney
  • 10+ years of labor and employment law experience with a high level of sophistication
  • Ability to adapt in an evolving corporate environment
  • Expertise in U.S. Labor and employment laws
