Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney with expertise in Labor & Employment law, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, to enhance our esteemed legal team. This role presents an exciting challenge for a professional who excels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in managing intricate employment litigation cases. You will be instrumental in advocating for clients in various legal settings, including federal courts, mediations, and arbitrations, serving as the primary resource for all employment-related legal inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse array of employment-related cases, encompassing wage disputes, workplace discrimination, and wrongful termination.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and offer sound legal counsel to clients.
3. Oversee all facets of case management, from initial client consultations to final resolutions, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
4. Represent clients in court, making frequent appearances and arguing motions.
5. Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
6. Negotiate settlements effectively and in a timely manner for clients.
7. Participate in mediations and arbitrations, advocating for clients' interests.
8. Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff to ensure a coordinated approach to case management.
9. Stay informed on the latest developments in labor and employment law to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. 2-5 years of experience as an employment litigator, ideally within a law firm.
3. Active admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Demonstrated experience in case management, court appearances, and client relations.
5. Proficient in legal research, document review, and drafting legal pleadings.
6. Proven experience representing clients in federal courts, mediations, and arbitrations.
7. Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful settlements.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
9. Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure.
11. High ethical standards and professionalism in interactions with clients, colleagues, and the judiciary.
12. Proficient in both English and Spanish.
