Job Title: Senior Design Studio Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay Range: $ 50-55
What’s the Job?
- Ensure CAD data is complete and satisfactory for prototyping and manufacturing components.
- Design armatures and prepare CAD models and drawing packages for RFQ.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quoting prototypes as necessary.
- Work cross-functionally with the Design Studio to assist in planning events and prototype modeling activities.
- Build a cooperative network between the Design Studio and Engineering to resolve conflicts between feature requirements and technical feasibility.
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 5 years of experience within engineering and dealing with components.
- Proficiency in Catia V5 (minimum 10,000 hours) with knowledge of Creo being an asset.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and visually, with the ability to propose engineering design solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to task ownership and execution.
- Strong understanding of materials science, tooling methods, and manufacturing processes.
